Special aids

Oral hygiene does not end with the teeth and interdental spaces. A coating naturally forms on the surface of the tongue, and a tongue scraper is designed to remove it mechanically. Its use can complement regular tooth brushing and help remove impurities and bacteria accumulated on the surface of the tongue.

Oral hygiene also includes the tools we use every day. UVC toothbrush sanitisers are designed to hygienically treat the heads of both electric and manual toothbrushes between uses.

The Special Aids category therefore includes practical accessories that address areas of oral care beyond routine tooth cleaning – from tongue hygiene to toothbrush care.
