Small children, especially infants, are not yet able to blow their noses effectively on their own. Accumulated mucus can therefore make it difficult for them to breathe through their nose, feed and sleep peacefully. Nasal aspirators help gently remove nasal secretions and make it easier to care for a child's nose during a runny nose or cold.

Depending on the method of use, you can choose from manual and electric nasal aspirators or models designed to be connected to a household vacuum cleaner. The individual types differ in how they create suction, operation and options for regulating the suction strength.

Nasal aspirators that can be easily disassembled and thoroughly cleaned are practical. Some models also allow attachments to be changed according to the child's age or additional replacement accessories to be purchased.

Suction should be carried out as needed and always gently to avoid unnecessary irritation of the sensitive nasal mucosa.
