Portable Air Conditioners

When the temperature in an apartment or office rises too high in summer, a fan alone may no longer be sufficient. Mobile air conditioners actively cool the air and allow you to lower the temperature in a room without installing a fixed air-conditioning unit.

Their main advantage is their mobility and ease of use. You can move the air conditioner between rooms as needed and use it, for example, in the living room during the day and in the bedroom before going to sleep. Warm air is discharged outside through a hose, most commonly through a window, so no structural modifications to the interior are required.

Air conditioner or air cooler?

Although they may look similar at first glance, they work differently. A mobile air conditioner actually lowers the air temperature using a refrigeration cycle, while an air cooler uses water evaporation and provides more of a pleasant local cooling effect. Therefore, if you need to effectively lower the temperature throughout an entire room during hot days, an air conditioner is more suitable.

Individual models differ primarily in cooling capacity and the size of the space they are designed for. Dehumidification, ventilation, timer or night mode functions can also be useful.
